Why an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)?

Is there a cost?

Check your ID card for the PreferredOne logo. For PreferredOne Insurance Company members your EAP is included at no cost. PreferredOne Administrative Services members should check with their employer or call PreferredOne Customer Services to see if they are eligible.

  • Unlimited telephone consultation and professional support for you and your family. Master's and doctorate level professionals help you with personal and work-related challenges.
  • Financial counselors can help with:
    • - Budgeting
    • - Financial planning
    • - Debt management programs
    • - Identity theft services
    • - Legal consultation and discounts with affiliate attorneys. A free initial 30-minute consultation gives you direction to help address legal questions such as dispute resolution, short document review and simple wills
  • Free half-hour legal consultation and 25% discount with affiliate attorneys. For general legal questions, your initail 30-minute consultation can often give you the answers you need to resolve your isssue. Services provided free as part of your initial consultation can include:
    • - Simple disput resolution
    • - Short document review
    • - Simple wills
