COVID-19 testing restrictions effective March 17, 2020

Due to a national shortage of COVID-19 test kits and MN Dept. of Health guidelines, Ridgeview and other Minnesota hospitals are restricting COVID-19 testing to patients admitted or needing admission to one of its hospitals and patients from skilled nursing facilities.

For Your Protection - Visitor Restrictions: To protect our patients, our team members and the communities we serve from the spread of illness, effectively immediately Ridgeview is implementing the following visitor restrictions in its Arlington, Le Sueur and Waconia hospitals:
1. Visitation to patients is restricted to the legal guardian or designated patient representative (one person)
2. Visitors who are sick or have a known exposure to COVID-19 are not allowed to visit
3. Neonatal Care Unit: Legal guardians are welcome at all times and not considered “visitors”. No other visitors will be allowed.
