Quality Management Program

The mission of the Quality Management (QM) Program is to identify and act on opportunities that improve the quality, safety and value of care provided to PreferredOne members both independently and/or collaboratively with contracted practitioners and community efforts, and also improve service provided to PreferredOne members and other customers.

Quality Focus
In today's healthcare environment, our members are faced with challenges like never before. Keeping abreast of changes in the healthcare environment such as new technology and current standards of care is often difficult. PreferredOne hopes the following information will assist you in making high quality, safe health care choices for yourself and your family:

Leapfrog - Helps consumers make smarter health care choices by showing them what steps hospitals are taking to reduce preventable medical mistakes.

Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JACHO)Find a health care organization that meets the Joint Commission's patient safety and quality standards.
